Our restaurant philosophy is to prepare original Cretan dishes cooked in the wood oven made with appetite and authentic Cretan quality materials mainly taken from the land of Sfakia. Friendly service along with the decoration of traditional tools and objects will make you feel the hospitality and warmth of the Cretan household.<\/p>\n

Our aim is to taste the traditional Cretan cuisine and especially the cuisine of Sfakia and to achieve this we select very carefully the materials and the ingredients we use. Lambs and sheep from Sfakia, fresh dairy products, extra virgin Cretan olive oil, are some of the materials we use.<\/p>\n

We offer fresh bread baked in the wood oven which you can combine with olive oil (from December to February you will find fresh olive oil, the famous \u201cagourolado\u201d) and sea salt. In the woodoven you can also try \u201cofto\u201d lamb, sheep with white cheese in cooking paper, lamb with potatoes, stuffed tomatoes and peppers with rice, giants beans with \u201csyglina\u201d smoked pork. Tasty cooked plates like goat tsigariasto (with or without staka), pleurotous mushrooms with stamnagathi (wild bitter greens), lamb with stamnagathi, beef \u201cstifado\u201d, stew rooster with tomatoes and many other grilled plates.<\/p>\n

Our restaurant has been awarded repeatedly since 2009 by prestigious institutions such as the “Greek Cuisine Awards” from the Golden Hats institution, the “FNL Best Restaurant Awards” and “FLAG Restaurant Awards”.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
